Product Information

Product introduction

Negative-type photosensitive material

As a negative photosensitive material, there is a bis azide compound, which is mainly used as a cross-linking agent for photo-curing resins used for forming color filters and semiconductor integrated circuits. We offer various bis azide compounds with high purity.

Positive photosensitive material

Naphthoquinone diazide compounds are used as photosensitive materials for positive photoresists for microfabrication such as semiconductor integrated circuits and liquid crystal displays, and we manufacture naphthoquinone diazide compounds in high purity and in large quantities.
In addition to the products listed below, we offer esters (PAC) of various naphthoquinonediazidosulfonic acids and various polyhydric phenols with the metal content level reduced to the order of ppb.

Acrylic polymer for resist

The Chiba Plant has three product manufacturing plants and mass-produces photosensitive
materials and polymers for photoresists.

Technologies that underpin next-generation energy

Electric double-layer capacitors have been spotlighted as energy devices that will support society in the future. It is a remarkable energy device that is being researched for its application to wind power storage facilities and vehicles, as well as dye- sensitized solar cells and fuel cells. The energy business provides electrolytes and ionic liquids, which are the materials used in the production. We apply the high-purity purification technologies cultivated in the photosensitive materials business for 25 years to stably mass-produce high-purity, high-quality ""electrolyte solutions"".

Toyo Gosei's "high-purity electrolyte"

Toyo Gosei Kogyo Co., Ltd. started manufacturing "high-purity electrolytes" in 2004,
applying 25 years of know-how in the photosensitive materials business that has been researched and developed for semiconductors. As an electrolyte for power storage devices (such as lithium ion secondary batteries and electric double layer capacitors), we will contribute to improving the reliability of energy devices that are indispensable to a low-carbon society.
