Toyo Gosei contributes to the society, by producing materials for the manufacture of electronic components and flavor and fragrance compound, recycling solvents for chemical industry and performing energy saving logistics. We aim constantly to reduce the regional environmental impact generated by these business activities to the lowest level. At the same time, we intend to contribute to the improvement of global environment through our activities.

1.Objectives

Toyo Gosei gives high priorities to safety management and environmental preservation activities. Each business establishment carefully performs its business taking these objectives into consideration that are “Employees’ safety and health” as internal objective and “Environmental preservation” as external one.

3.Our steps to protect the environment

1)	In the production activities, we place the first priority on the lessening the volume of effluent released into the air and water. We prepare long term plans for improving environmental performance. Each year we publish a full accounting of its environmental impact and emission level.
2)	We work hard to reduce consumption of steam and electrical power, minimizing specific energy consumption year after year.
3)	We perform the cut down of waste generation and in-house detoxifying process implementing 3R (Reduce, reuse and recycle).
4)	We execute reassessment of existing chemical substances in order to comply with international re-examination of safety as well as new substances. We take scrupulous care in assessment of the impacts of the product on workers health and environment at the stage of trial production that are reflected in business activities.
